“The Equalizer” Star Queen Latifah Praises Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx Queen Latifah

CBS’s “The Equalizer” Star has done a lot over her 30-year career and we’re so proud of everything she’s accomplishing!!

The Star is gearing up to be honored at a few prestigious award ceremonies soon and we’re sure rooting for her.

Queen is the type to also give love to her peers so we wasn’t surprised when we read that she recently gave praise to Jamie Foxx who is currently dealing with a rough time.

Queen shared:

“I’m praying for him. He is secretly behind so many people’s success in music, in Hollywood. Jamie is a unicorn, and if you aired a whole show on him you’d be surprised how many people had been put on because they came by Jamie’s house and they invited him over to play piano or make some beats or make some music. I hear so many kind stories about people who tour with him and how he treated them so respectfully and made sure they were all taken care of.

I don’t know how he found the energy to do that after parties after the shows, but I sure partied with him a couple times ’cause he’d be on the mic and singing. I’d be like, ‘You just did a whole two-hour show and you still at the club doing another [one]!’ So, he’s really the genuine article and I just wish him nothing but the best.”

Love this! Would love to see Jamie guest star on “The Equalizer” in the future.

The Equalizer stars Queen Latifah, Tory Kittles, Adam Goldberg, Liza Lapira, Laya DeLeon Hayes, and Lorraine Toussaint. Recurring cast members include Brett Dalton, Gabriel Sloyer, Chris Vance, and Stephen Bishop. The story follows Robyn McCall (Latifa), an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background. She uses her extensive skills as a former CIA operative to help those with nowhere else to turn. To most, Robyn appears to be just an average single mom who is quietly raising her daughter (Hayes) and living with her aunt (Toussaint). However, to a trusted few, Robyn is The Equalizer, an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who’s also dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption. Joining Robyn as champions of justice are her longtime friend and former CIA handler (Noth), an edgy bar owner and past colleague (Lapira), and a paranoid and brilliant white-hat hacker (Goldberg). As Robyn aids the oppressed and exploited, her vigilante work garners the attention of a shrewd NYPD Detective (Kittles). He once sought to uncover her identity, but now respects the need for Robyn’s type of justice, even as he often questions her methods.
