ABC’s “The Rookie” Star Nathan Fillion is getting ready to Star in a brand new film and we’re so proud of him!!
The Star will take part in new Thriller film titled “Skincare”!
The cast also includes Elizabeth Banks [Pitch Perfect] Lewis Pullman [Top Gun: Maverick], Michaela Jaé Rodriguez [Pose] and Luis Gerardo Méndez [Murder Mystery].
Skincare is described as a vanity thriller set in Hollywood, though specifics as to its plot are under wraps. Peters wrote the script with Deering Regan and Sam Freilich. The film is the third on which Schwartz and Lerman have collaborated on as producers following A24’s The Vanishing of Sidney Halland CJ ENM’s Press Play. Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi financed and produced the film through their Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment banner, alongside the duo, with Regan and Freilich serving as executive producers.
There’s little details about the plot out so far but the new movie is directed by Austin Peters, with Deering Regan and Sam Freilich penning the script and serving as executive producers. The project is financed and produced by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi through their Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment banner.

The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, Mekia Cox, Shawn Ashmore, and Tru Valentino. Lisseth Chavez recurs. John Nolan (Fillion) is a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania who owns a construction company. He decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy, is the oldest rookie on the force, and eventually becomes a training officer. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), Detective Angela Lopez (Diaz), training officers Nyla Harper (Cox) and Tim Bradford (Winter), fellow rookie Lucy Chen (O’Neil), and the station’s newest rookie, Aaron Thorsen (Valentino).
