BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis was missing from the 2023 BET Awards but for a very good reason!!
The Star opted out of attending the award show to spend time with his wife and children!
Devale’s wife Khadeen shared a sweet post on Instagram sharing:
“@iamdevale was headed to attend the BET awards this weekend in LA to walk the red carpet with his castmates and be a part of culture’s biggest night, but cancelled his plans to coach Jackson’s 7 on 7 game today and take the boys on their first road trip to see grandma. You see, he always puts our family first and I love him for that. ❤️🔥🥰🙏🏽 #TheEllises #FOE #FamilyRoadTrip2023”

Sistas follows a group of single Black females as they navigate their “complicated love life,” careers and friendship through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. The women must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30’s.
