“The Challenge” Star CT “The Most Dangerous Game” Film Currently Streaming

MTV’s “The Challenge” Star Chris ‘C.T.’ Tamburello is currently the MVP and legend of the competition series but recently he tapped into acting!

CT starred in “The Most Dangerous Game”. The movie was a remake of the 1930s classic.

Plot:

“The original “man hunting man” story gets a twist as father and son are washed ashore after their steamership explodes. The men find refuge on a mysterious island where their nefarious host, Baron Von Wolf, reveals to them that the island is his game preserve where human beings serve as the ultimate hunt. Berenger plays a man who has been hiding on the island but whose sanity is on the verge of collapse.”

The film also stars are Tom Berenger (Platoon), two-time Oscar nominee Bruce Dern (Nebraska), Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club) and Caspar Van Dien (Starship Troopers).

The Most Dangerous Game is produced by Ed Morrone and Michelle Ng; and executive produced by Bill Sondheim and Randy Charach.

The completed film is a co-production between US firms Koenig Pictures and Mill Creek Entertainment, in association with Charach Productions, Greenfield Media and Australia’s Quiet on Set Productions.

The film is a remake of the 1932 thriller, which itself is based on Richard Connell’s 1924 short story.

CT spoke about his time filming;

“I think I’ve always had the [acting] bug, but I never really tried to branch out from the show because I think at that time reality TV was frowned upon in the industry. If you wanted to [act], you had to stop doing it. And people have done it: Jamie Chung has done it and has done incredible, and even Mike “The Miz” [Mizanin] always wanted to be a pro-wrestler and did it. They had the guts to follow their dreams. I would always take the sure money. Maybe deep down inside I was scared,” Tamburello told Metacritic.
