CBS’s “Big Brother” fans were recently on edge after hearing that live feeds would not be present during the 11th season of “Big Brother Canada”!
“This new content offering came together after thoughtful consideration, with us taking a new approach to the BBCAN live feeds by offering an exclusive peek inside the house and moving away from the 24/7 live feeds,” said Corus Studios and Corus Entertainment Senior Vice President of Original Content Lisa Godfrey in a statement.
A rumor quickly surfaced that the USA would be following that idea for the 25th season and fans needed answers.
That was a lie and fans will get to see live feeds for the 25th season.
According to a source close to production, there are no plans to change the live feed offerings for viewers of the American Big Brother when the show returns for its landmark 25th season this summer.
Despite Big Brother Canada recently cancelling their live feed for #BBCAN11, it’s been confirmed CBS don’t plan on doing the same. Season 24 saw 8.3 BILLION minutes of online streaming, including live feed.
Paramount+ does not want to lose that type of viewership.
Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $750,000.
