“Magnum PI” is back and the show is now airing on a brand new network!
Once airing on CBS, the show is now airing on NBC and the ratings might’ve seen a fall from the Season 4 premiere but we think it debuted very strong for a show that switched channels. Majority of the fans returned for the premiere.
Season 5 debuted to two new episodes:

Plot;
“Magnum and Higgins weigh the risks of pursuing a relationship; Rick juggles being a new father and running La Mariana; Katsumoto tries to figure out his next move.”
The episode received 3.751M views and a .30 demo.
Episode 2 was titled “The Breaking Point”
Plot:
“Magnum and Higgins go undercover as lifeguards in order to solve a murder; Jin Jeong wins a storage unit auction and enlists the help of Rick and TC upon finding a stolen military medal.”
The episode received 3.228M views and a .30 demo.

Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Amy Hill, and Tim Kang. This show is a reboot of the 1980s TV series.
Magnum PI follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs backup on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. The unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest, Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is also one of Magnum’s biggest fans.
