“Bel Air” Season 2 Will Feature The Same Artist From Freshman Season

Bel air season 2

Peacock’s “Bel Air” Season 2 is on the way to our screens next month and we just found out some cool news about Aunt Viv’s paintings!

Jason Wilcox (JasonJArtPro) from Instagram revealed that he was the official artist for a few of Aunt Viv’s paintings during the first season and he’s also working on Season 2.

He took to Instagram to share:

“These are the first and last paintings I created for Aunt Viv, played by @cassiedamsel *Season 1 Bel-Air on @peacocktv . Can’t wait for y’all to see my new artwork in Season 2. New season of Bel-Air coming Feb 23 👑”

Back in August he posted:

“It was an absolute honor and privilege to create this painting of Will Smith played by @jabaribankson Bel-Air, episode 10 (Season finale). I created this portrait based on a painting I did in 2019 titled Broken Crown. The crown I painted in this image was inspired by the crown worn by Jabari Banks in the opening scene of episode 1, that was designed by @annmanndesigns.

Amazing! We can’t wait to see more paintings in Season 2.

Peacock’s “Bel-Air” follows Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.

During Season 2, Will is at a crossroads as a new figure comes into his life who challenges what he’s learned in Bel-Air and competes for control of his influence. He juggles this while navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of last season.

Will and Carlton’s brotherhood will start to evolve as they grow closer, but still challenge each other about their differences. We’ll also see Hilary evolve as she becomes more of a boss in her influencer world and how that spills over into her relationship with Jazz, and also highlight the relatable struggles around Viv and Phil balancing marriage and family while trying to forge their own career paths and reconnect to the things that are important to them.

Bel-Air Season 2 premieres on Peacock February 23 with three episodes, followed by a new episode streaming Thursdays.
