MTV’s “The Challenge” Season 38 is currently airing and the rookies this season are nicely picked!
One particular rookie that stood out is Nurys Mateo!
You may remember Nurys from “Are You The One” and “Ex On The Beach” on MTV and this year she finally made her long awaited debut on “The Challenge”.
Nurys was partnered with Nelson and even helped him win a few challenges before they were eventually eliminated.
Nurys took to Instagram to share her experience on the show and hopes to return.
She shared:
“& just like that, my rookie season of @thechallenge is over 🥹 I wanna give a huge thank you to my ride or die @_nelsonthomas for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. You’re the absolute best, I’m grateful to call you a real genuine friend! I wouldn’t change a thing (well except some dumb moves we made 😅) love you 🫶🏽
This season was better than I ever imagined! From making some amazing memories with some of the dopest people I’ve met, to pushing my body to its limit & proving to myself I can do anything I put my mind to 💪🏽 I’m beyond proud of myself and I hope & pray to be able to come back and play this game again! ♥️🙏🏽”

MTV, “The Challenge: Ride or Dies”features 17 pairs. The seemingly unbreakable bonds between friends, family and partners will be tested in the new reality TV series. From former teammates (Bananas and Nany as well as Darrell and Veronica) to a bunch of new faces from different reality series, these duos will compete for their share of the $1 million prize.
