“The Equalizer” Season 3 Mid-Season Return Still Doesn’t Have A Premiere Date

CBS’s “The Equalizer” Season 3 debuted in October 2022 and has gone on hiatus until the 2023 return.

Episode 7 titled “Paradise Lost” was the last episode to air.

Plot:

“After Misty, a superstar singer deciding to retire, receives a terrifying fan letter, her head of security hires McCall to track down the culprit.”

There’s currently no date for the premiere but there’s word that the show will return in February of 2023.

In May, the show got a two-season renewal due it being “Sunday’s #1 scripted series, averaging 9.46 million viewers.”

The show, starring Queen Latifah as leading protagonist Robyn, is one the latest iteration of the original ’80s TV series and two films in recent years. Co-created by executive producers Richard Lindheim, Michael Sloanand Queen Latifah, the show follows the life of former CIA operative Robyn. To many, she looks like a typical single mother who lives with her aunt Viola (Lorraine Toussaint) while raising daughter Delilah (Layla DeLeon Hayes). In reality, Robyn lives a double life and works undercover to defend those who have nowhere else to turn.
