Fans of the Heartstopper book series are in for a treat as the release of the fifth Heartstopper book is coming in 2023!
The 5th installment will be the last.
It’s a very bittersweet moment because the books were all best sellers and holds a special place in the fans hearts. The book series created the hit Netflix series and to know that the book series is ending soon is a bummer.
Heartstopper is from author Alice Oseman who is an award-winning author, illustrator, and screenwriter, and was born in 1994 in Kent, England. She has written four YA contemporary novels about teenage disasters: SOLITAIRE, RADIO SILENCE, I WAS BORN FOR THIS, and LOVELESS. She is the creator of LGBTQ+ YA romance webcomic HEARTSTOPPER, which is now published in physical form by Hachette Children’s Books, and she is the writer, creator, and executive producer for the television adaptation of HEARTSTOPPER, which is now filming Season 2 and was renewed for a Season 3.

Plot: Heartstopper is based on graphic novels by the show’s writer, Alice Oseman. The series stars Kit Connor, Joe Locke, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Jenny Walser, Sebastian Croft, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Fisayo Akinade, Chetna Pandya, Stephen Fry, and Olivia Colman. The story follows the life of Charlie Spring (Locke), a gay student who falls in love with his friend and classmate Nick Nelson (Connor). The show also follows the lives of their friends Tao (Gao), Elle (Finney), Tara (Brown), Darcy (Edgell), and Isaac (Donovan).
