Hallmark’s “When Calls The Heart” Star Erin Shares That Season 10 Will Be Huge For Johannah

When calls the heart Johannah

“When Calls The Heart” Season 10 is a huge milestone for the series and it’s going to be an even bigger accomplishment for some of our favorite characters!

It looks like Season 10 will give Johannah Newmarch’s character Molly a huge storyline where she will be able to shine and show more of her acting chops and we can’t wait.

Johannah co-star Erin shared a birthday message and wasn’t afraid to let fans know that she does very well in Season 10:

“Johannah who brings joy! I hope you have a beautiful birthday! And I can’t wait for everyone to see you shine in Season 10!”

We love this support from the cast!

Fun Fun: Johannah didn’t audition for Molly first. She also auditioned to play the role of Flo.

She shared:

“I was on Vancouver Island with my family, and my agent sent me this message saying that I had an audition for this show. I was like, “Okay, I’ll jump on the boat and come back for it.” I went to the audition, and Michael Landon, Jr. was in the room with the casting director. It was one of the more dramatic scenes that I did for the audition because this was season one, and you can probably remember the mindset of the townspeople back then. Believe it or not, I actually auditioned for Florence Blakeley, and then they ended up casting me as Molly Sullivan.”

It’s going to be amazing seeing how Season 10 plays out.

When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Jack Wagner, Kevin McGarry, Chris McNally, Andrea Brooks, Kavan Smith, Pascale Hutton, Ben Rosenbaum, Johannah Newmarch, Martin Cummins, Kayla Wallace, Viv Leacock, Natasha Burnett, Vienna Leacock, Elias Leacock, Hrothgar Mathews, Loretta Walsh, and Amanda Wong. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the TV series follows Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. She’s assigned to teach in a coal country classroom and it’s a life-changing experience. Now a widow and single mother, Elizabeth faces new challenges but enters into a new relationship with mysterious gambler Lucas Bouchard (McNally). In season nine, Hope Valley is in a state of growth, with the foundry’s progress and the evolution of key relationships. The Mayoral race has the town buzzing with a few members of the town running against one another. Elizabeth and Lucas focus on their relationship beyond courtship, and as she gets to know Lucas better, she learns about his past which gives Elizabeth pause about their future.
