BET & Tyler Perry’s “Sistas” spin-off trailer, premiere date and premise is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.
One more thing that dropped was the official character descriptions and one new star we’ve been looking at for a minute is Jasmin Brown.
Jasmin was rumored to Star on both “Sistas” Season 5 & “Zatima” but now we can officially say that she will definitely be on both this fall.
Brown will portray Deja, Zac’s tenant who is a nail technician by day and stripper by night. LaRoach will portray Belinda, Fatima’s “tell like it is” friend who adds a whole new layer of challenges to Zac and Fatima’s relationship.
Tyler Perry must’ve seen something special in this character to bring her to both the original show and the spin-off and we can’t wait to see what Deja brings to the table.
Jasmin is gorgeous so we know Tyler added her in to stir some drama! We could see a new rivalry forming between Deja and Fatima.
The 10-episode series “Zatima” marks the second spin-off from a Tyler Perry top-rated linear show to get greenlit by BET+ following The Oval‘s offshoot Ruthless.
The series is executive produced, directed, and written by Tyler Perry and will debut September 29th followed by the Season 5 premiere of “Sistas” in October!
