The steaming world is taking over award season as Heartstopper and Peaky Blinders were both featured at the National Television Awards.
The shortlist was recently announced with both shows up for multiple awards.
Netflix newest hit series Heartstopper which is currently gearing up to film Season 2 is up for two awards.
New Drama and Rising Star. The nominees features both Joe Locke and Kit Connor (who play Charlie and Nick respectively).
Peaky Blinders is nominated for Returning Drama, with Cillian Murphy up for Drama Performance for his role as Tommy Shelby.
The 2022 awards will take place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on Thursday 15th September, with tickets on sale now.
If you aren’t able to snag a ticket for this year’s event, you will be able to watch all the awards from home, as the show will be airing live on ITV on Thursday 15thSeptember.
The show will be expected to run for about two and a half hours, with Britain’s best-loved stars celebrating an exciting year in TV.
