Peacock’s “Love Island USA” Copying “Love Island UK” Exact Formula

Love island usa season 4

The current season of “Love Island USA” is like watching a generic version of “Love Island UK”!

The season moved to Peacock from CBS and fans were excited for the change until the change became way too much.

The casting for the season is terrible, there’s a new host, Production snatched Ian from the UK to use him on the USA version, the series now seems shorter and there’s an elimination nearly every episode which stops the islanders from making genuine connections with each other.

On top of that, the series casted UK native Zeta and she’s carrying the show on her back.

The new antic is Love Island USA will bring back a past Islander to join Season 4. Mackenzie from Season 2 (The best season of USA) will debut on the show again in hopes of finding love.

If you watched Love Island UK Season 8, you would know that this just happened during their season. An old islander returned. Love Island UK Season 8 was amazing by the way.

Our only problem with this is that the USA version isn’t established enough as a show to pull something like this so early on. The engagement and ratings for the USA is pretty bad compared to the UK. The UK version creates reality stars Season after Season that earn brand deals and even receive spin-off shows. Tons of celebrities are watching their version like Stranger Things lead cast.

In our genuine opinion, the formula of copying Love Island UK isn’t working for the USA. We understand why they wanted to move the show from CBS to Peacock but it was a risky move. From what we’ve seen so far, it’s not working in their favor.
