The Blacklist fans, we might have a bit news to share with you concerning the filming of Season 10!
As you remember, NBC released their fall schedule for the 2022-23 season a while ago and The Blacklist season 10 was not on it. This left fans worried about when the next season would actually air and even before that we would need to know when does filming actually begin!
The Blacklist location manager Tom Scutro is giving us a hint when the season is likely to start filming.
“It’s been a great run. It’s hard to believe this all started in 2013. I’ve worked on the show since we started, except for the pilot episode. We’re thrilled to be returning for a tenth season, which we’ll start filming after Labor Day.” Via CarterMatt.
Labor Day this year is September 5th so that means the show will possibly start filming the 10th season sometime in September.
Lead and Producer James Spader is set to return for the 10th season. This will be the second following the departure of its female lead Megan Boone, who exited at the end of Season 8 after the character was killed off. Back for Season 10 as executive producer and new show runner is John Eisendrath, who has been on the series from the start, co-showrunning with original show-runner Bokenkamp for the first eight seasons and serving as sole showrunner since the start of Season 9.
