Congratulations are in order for one of the “Chicago PD” stars!!
Newcomer Benjamin Levy Aguilar has been promoted to series regular for Season 10 of NBC’s Chicago P.D. He will reprise the role of Dante Torres who, fresh off patrol, comes to Intelligence as a rookie. Via Deadline.
Torres was introduced on Chicago P.D. in Season 9, Episode 18, titled “New Guard,” as a new recruit assigned as Halstead’s (Jesse Lee Soffer) partner. It quickly becomes clear that Torres is extremely guarded, and he reveals little about himself. But he has the natural instincts to become a good cop and is a strong asset for Halstead. He did appear in the series as Franco Chavaro two seasons prior.
Chicago P.D. Season 10 will premiere Wednesday, September 21 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
Chicago P.D. follows the members of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit—and it’s an addictively thrilling drama. Between law enforcement and navigating interpersonal relationships, how the Chicago P.D. characters respond to chaos is part of the reason fans keep coming back for more. From busted drug deals to inner-city corruption, you never know what emergency the Chicago P.D. team will tackle next. While cities like New York and Los Angeles often receive attention from Dick Wolf, the Chicago-set franchise provides a fresh take on first responder action amid the backdrop of the Windy City, led by Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe).
