The Gilded Age is casting extras for Season 2!!

HBO’s “The Gilded Age,” a series set in 1882 starring Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, and Carrie Coon, will be filming in Troy, Albany, and Cohoes for its second season. Filming begins at the beginning of August, but the show is still casting paid local background actors to play a variety of roles.
Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for locals to play 1880s pedestrians between August 1st and August 26th.
Joining the cast this season is Ben Lamb (who plays King Richard in A Christmas Prince) and Laura Benanti (who plays Alura and Astra in Supergirl).
Lamb’s character is described as a ‘posh British nobleman’ who’s just arrived in NYC while Benanti’s is newly widowed, ‘very beautiful’ and ‘glamorous’. She’s also a Newport resident who hires Larry Russell as her architect for a house renovation.
Christopher Denham (Billions), David Furr (The Blacklist), Matilda Lawler (Station Eleven), Dakin Matthews (Desperate Housewives), (son of the great Andre) Michael Braugher, Nicole Brydon Bloom (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) and Robert Sean Leonard (House) will also star in the forthcoming season.
