HBO’s “The Gilded Age” Season filming is now in production and fans are able to see where the show is filming!
“The Gilded Age” latest stop is Upstate New York.
The Times Union reports the HBO Max series will shoot season 2 scenes in Albany’s Washington Park and Troy from Aug. 6-10. The production company HeyDey Productions informed Albany residents of the “preliminary plan” for filming, though dates have not been announced for scenes expected to shoot in Cohoes and Troy.
“Over the next few weeks we will prepare locations and film scenes on a number of blocks adjacent to Washington Park. In order to accurately portray New York in 1883, we plan to populate the streets with horse and carriages and with actors dressed in period clothing on each shoot day,” a letter of notification said.
All extras expected on set are required to be vaccinated and undergo Covid-19 testing before filming.
