NBC’s “Law & Order” Filming Resumes & Crew Member Murdered On Set

Law & Order is back filming and tragedy has struck!

Back in May, NBC picked up the Law & Order revival and Law & Order: Organized Crime for the 2022-23 season. The shows both joined Law & Order: SVU which is in the second year of a three-season renewal on the network’s lineup for next season.

Wolf Production has a lot of shows in production right now and Law and Order franchise is a few of them.

SVU, OC & L&O are now in production.

While filming, a Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Crew Member was Shot & Killed On Set.

The man, a 31 year-old parking enforcement worker, was killed while sitting in a car on the New York set of the Universal Television-produced series, according to police reports. Via Deadline.

The victim, who has not been named as family has not been notified, was reportedly sitting in a vehicle in Greenpoint this morning when he was shot around 5:15am. He was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead around 6am ET. No arrest has been made yet.

“We were terribly saddened and shocked to hear that one of our crew members was the victim of a crime early this morning and has died as a result. We are working with local law enforcement as they continue to investigate.”

“Our hearts go out to his family and friends and we ask that you respect their privacy during this time,” said a NBC and Universal Television spokeswoman”

The L&O franchise return Thursday, September 22 on NBC, and al three series are streaming on Peacock with a subscription.
