“The Equalizer” star and executive producer Queen Latifah announced that the hit CBS series had been picked up for a third and fourth season a while back and while talking about the possibility of Denzel Washington guest starring on the show she mentioned another name as well..
The show, in which Latifah plays vigilante Robyn McCall, is currently the network’s No. 2 primetime series, behind “NCIS,” which has ran for nearly 20 seasons.
Queen shared that legendary Dolly Parton is a fab of the show.
She shared;
“Dolly literally wrote me a letter like, ‘You are a badass on that show!’” Latifah shared. “I may have to call and ask if she wants to be on.”
The two starred together in the movie Joyful Noise.
