Apostol returned for Survivor’s 27th season, Blood vs. Water alongside his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Foulger. He was assigned to the Galang tribe while she went to Tadhana. Tyson’s method of playing the game was praised, and he was voted the $1 million winner, receiving seven of the eight jury votes.
Heavy’s Stephen McCaugherty spoke with Tyson ahead of his appearance on The Challenge USA and was asked about returning to Survivor.
He stated that he might make more money not returning to the show and that’s all he’s interested in when competing so we might not see Tyson on Survivor again.
