The CW’s hit series Legacies may have ended abruptly but the creators of the franchise says they’re already planning for a return..
EP Brett Matthews shared:
“It’s coming eventually, that’s my hint. There’s nothing on the page yet but we’ve been having a lot of really good, fun conversations about how to launch the franchise into the next phase. I think it would be part of the universal timeline of the franchise but set in a different setting and with different characters.”
He also shared that Season 5 of Legacies would’ve been a time jumped season.
The show was possibly up to switch streamers but it looks like that won’t happen and they’re just moving forward with a new show and new characters.
