In an exclusive clip from the upcoming Netflix series This Is Pop, T-Pain spoke of the time he fell into deep depression after Usher told him his debut messed up music forever.
T-Pain thought Usher’s comment was a joke initially and laughed it up until the Confessions singer reiterated his statement.

“And then he was like, ‘Yeah man you really fucked up music for real singers,’” T-Pain continued to say. “I was like, ‘What did I do? I came out and I used Auto-Tune.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, you fucked it up.’ I’m like, ‘But I used it, I didn’t tell everybody else to start using it.’”
This comes after Pain went viral for not answering any DM’s from the stars trying to contact him.
Also he shared a little disappointed with Nicki Minaj
During a recent interview with “The 85 South Show,” the well-renowned producer opened up about the time Nicki Minaj turned down his request to appear as a feature on one of his songs.
According to Pain, he reached out to Nicki back in 2007 when she was still an up-and-coming artist in the game. He said she was initially down to record a few bars but eventually got tied up trying to complete her own project.
Nicki did apologize.

T-Pain is speaking a lot about his experience in the industry lately. I know these stars are being caught off guard.
